UMB sponsors Ghana Tertiary Awards

After calling on corporate bodies and the general public to support talents in tertiary institutions, Youth Web Group, organisers of the Ghana Tertiary Awards(GTA) are proud to announce that Universal Merchant Bank (UMB) is the headline sponsor for this years’ event.

The awards event comes off tomorrow, Friday, October 21 at the National Theatre.

According to Mr. Richmond Amofa Sarpong, CEO of Youth Web Group,organisers of GTA, UMB came on board just 12 days to the event and he and his team appreciate the support of the bank in encouraging the youth of the nation. 

In all, he said “over 30 awards will be given out tomorrow to students from various tertiary institutions including the Role Model Award and the Life Time Achievement Award which will be given to key media personalities.”

He said the event will not be just for awards, patrons will be treated to music and comedy performances from artistes such as Medikal, Nii Funny, Danny Beatz, Kofi Wereko among others.

“The night promises to be one of appreciation, glamour and great performances from the artistes and billed to spice up the occasion. It will be a fun galore”, added Mr Sarpong.
