‘Through A Film Darkly’ at Christ the King Hall

‘Through A Film Darkly’, a play by the late Prof. Joe DeGraft will be performed on Friday, June 9 at the Christ the King Hall in Accra.

Directed by Rita Richardson, the play touches on effective critiquing of plays while challenging viewers on how to revive the classics and promote live theatre in Ghana.

A graduate in Theatre Arts from the University of Education at Winneba, Richardson had a stint with the National Drama Company where she featured in several stage productions with industry greats like David Dontoh, Fred Amugi, Edinam Atatsi and Mawuli Semevor.

Noted for starring in productions she directs, she has introduced her plays to over 30 Senior High Schools throughout the country.

Currently the Chief Executive Officer of Zaafi Black Arts and Homes, Richardson’s general body of work embraces drama, poetry, music, dance and developmental theatre.

The 7.00pm ‘Through A Film Darkly’ production is being supported by UniBank, Dipity Ltd and Hamailsa Enterprise.
