Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, is set to take his career a notch higher with the recent unveiling of a record deal between himself and Zylofon Media.
The unveiling ceremony which came off on Thursday, June 15, at the offices of Zylofon Media, was attended by songstress Becca and Kumi Guitar, two artistes already signed on by the media and entertainment outfit.
Explaining the decision to sign Stonebwoy, the CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah, said the artiste’s talent, integrity, versatility set him apart from other musicians on the Ghanaian music scene.
He said Stonebwoy’s skill was an asset that made him suitable for every platform in the world.
“Stonebwoy is not just an artiste. He understands the music industry and is not just an average artiste only good at getting in front of the microphone and singing,” he noted.
Speaking with Showbiz after the unveiling ceremony, Stonebwoy expressed his appreciation to Zylofon Media for signing him. He promised to use the resources now available to him by virtue of his new deal with Zylofon Media to propel his career to higher heights.
He assured his fans that despite the new deal, nothing had changed with regard to his old team members who had been with him over the years.
Zylofon Media used the occasion of the unveiling to premiere the official video for Stonebwoy’s latest single, My Name.
