Dreams & Hiphop a musical fiction produced and directed by ace video director, Abraham Ohene Djan of Ohene Media chronicles what upcoming artistes go through in order to have a taste of fame and subsequently make financial gains.

“None of the guys are professional actors, but the originality displayed in the movie is amazing. There are very few avenues for artistes to make some money these days, aside promoting Ghanaian music; we are hoping to make some revenue from the film.”

He said currently, his outfit is screening the movie to some selected industry players and media people in Accra and Kumasi to get feedback.

“This is to gather opinion from them, polish it up then release to the public. So far, the feedback has been positive and we are looking forward towards releasing the movie by next month.”

The film woven around 15 songs written and arranged by Cabum. It also features Pepe Tijani, K Daanso, AJ Nelson, Yaw Sarpong Kumankuma, Kenn Ayiah, Andy Dosty and a cameo appearance by artiste manager Bulldog.
