Obour lays mother to rest

The president of the Musician Union of Ghana, Bice Osei- Kuffour will lay his mother Christiana Addo, 68, to rest on Saturday, October 22, at Juaso in the Ashanti Region.

She will be laid in state from 5am to 9am at house No. J124 Juaso. Friends and family of the late Christiana Addo will then move to Mount Calvary Presbyterian church at 9 am for the church service and the final funeral rites will take place at  Juaso Town Park at 1pm.

Musicians, Gifty Osei,  Elder Mireku, Joe Beecham and  Nero X will perform at the burial service.  

In the evening of Saturday, a tribute concert featuring artistes, Samini, Barima Sidney, Okyeame Kwame, Nero X, Kwabena Kwabena, Atom, Kojo Antwi, Rex Omar and Amakye Dede will be held at Juaso Town Park.

In a chat with Showbiz on Tuesday, Obour said he is already missing  his mum. “I miss her especially her early morning calls and her  WhatsApp messages. She meant so much to me and I miss her already.” 

The late Christiana Addo was born on September 23, 1947, in Juaso, Asante Akim to Mr. Samuel Christian Addo and Madam Alice Ankomah Addo. She left behind five children.
