New actors for Marathon Performance
MK Casting, organisers of two actors’ workshops which came off in October 2016 and February this year, is expected to put participants to the test. The event which is dubbed Marathon Performance, will take place at the Kanda Community Library on Saturday, March 25 at 6pm under the theme Role of the Youth In Nation Building.

Chief Executive Officer of MK Casting, Mawuko Kuadzi, told Showbiz that the exercise is purposely designed to prepare actors for the competitive film industry out there.
“It is important the actors start from the stage because performing in front of live audience keeps them on their toes and thus ensures efficiency in delivery and performance,” he said.
Participants have been put in groups three groups with 10 actors in each group
Each group has been charged with the task of scripting their own plays and have been rehearsing for about a month now.
Mr Kuadzi said proceeds from the show will be used to shoot a short film for the actors.
Mawuko Kuadzi said celebrated actor, Adjetey Anang and Dayan Fields who were part of the workshops will be present to access the performance of the students.
"Peter Segbefia, Director of the movie Keteke will also be present as I have invited various directors and producers to witness the performance of these upcoming actors.
“Fred Amugi has also expressed his interest to perform alongside the young actors. This move we hope, will boost their on-stage confidence,” he said.
Mawuko Kuadzi urged patrons to turn-up to witness the birth of the new crop of Ghanaian actors.
