MTN Hitmaker 4 set to roll
This year’s MTN Hitmaker has started rolling with the unveiling of 12 finalists last Wednesday at the National Theatre.
The 12 finalists- Kidi, Abena, Efo, Twice, Yaw, Awurabena, CJ, Colours, Oneday, Gunshot, Adjoa and MJC Glory- were selected from the hundreds of people who turned up for auditions.

They managed to survive the gruelling boot camp where the true hitmaker quality is tested and proven.
Backed by the Patch Bay band, the 12 finalists proved their worth and gave the audience a taste of what to expect in the coming weeks as they dazzled with their performances.
This season has new set of judges in the persons of Okyeame Kwame (Mr Versatile), renowned entertainment critic, Kwasi Aboagye, and sensational female rapper, Eazzy.
The contestants will also be privileged to be mentored by Kaywa, Magnom and Richie, three of the best brains in beat making in Ghana.
Kaywa will work with Kidi, Abena, Efo and Twice while Magnom will work with Yaw, Awurabena, CJ and Colours. Richie will work with Oneday, Gunshot, Adjoa and MJC Glory.
Since the first edition in 2012, the MTN Hitmaker has unearthed new talents and groomed them for the music industry. Some of the past winners are Naterial (2012), Koo Ntakara (2013), and Togbe (2014)
MTN Hitmaker 4, organised by MTN and produced by Charterhouse will be shown on Saturdays on GhOne Entertainment TV, 4Syte TV and GTV at 8p.m. and on Sundays at 5.30p.m. on Joy Prime, TV3 and Ocean TV and on Metro TV at 7.30p.m.
