Marigold is Miss Abbeam 2017
Miss Marigold Vanderpuye, a Level 100 student has been crowned Miss Abbeam 2017 when the Students Representative Council (SRC) of the Abbeam Institute of Technology climaxed its SRC Week celebration with its annual Mr & Miss Abbeam pageant.

Another student, George Opoku was adjuged Mr Abbeam 2017 when he outdid five male contestants at the event.
The pageant aims at testing the intellect, resolve and composure of the contestants. It was also an opportunity for the contestants in to exhibit varied talent.
In all, 10 beautiful ladies contested for ‘Miss Abbeam 2017’ while six gentlemen competed for the right to be branded ‘Mr.Abbeam 2017’.
At the end of several grilling rounds and exhibition of talent, Marigold Vanderpuye was crowned queen for the night.
Esther Yaba and Belinda earned the first and second runners-up positions respectively, after putting up stellar performances.
In the men’s category, George Opoku emerged Mr. Abbeam 2017 while the second place went to Kelvin Nyarko and Benjamin Owusu earned the third position.
The event also saw some music performances from Kobi Rana, Ephraim, Genesis of D2 Fame, Dr. Flow among others.
Mr & Miss Abbeam pageant was sponsored by the Abbeam Group of Companies headed Rev. Dr. Abbeam Ampomah Danso.
