M.anifest, Knii Lante for Open Mic

Saturday, June 24, will be a night of great performances when reigning VGMA Rapper of the Year, M.anifest joins other creative artists for the maiden edition of the Open Mic event which will be hosted at +233 Pub and Grill.

The event, which is anticipated to give patrons doses of great entertainment will also have reggae artiste/medical doctor, Knii Lantey on bill as a performing artiste.

That is not all, other well-known personalities tasked to delight patrons at the show are KSM, Chief Moomen, DJ Black, Yom Nfojoh and Solo 7.

An initiative of Accra based radio station, Joy FM, Open Mic will provide a means where talents from various creative departments— music, comedy, disc jockey and poetry will display their acts on the same page.

M.anifest told Showbiz on Tuesday he’s leaving no stone unturned to create a good impression on the guests. “This is my domain and this is what I’ve been doing all my life. It won’t be the usual concert where people jam but a whole package to appreciate the creativity in arts with style.

This kind of events are rare and it’s another great occasion to boost my brand.”

According to the organisers, Open Mic is expected to be a quarterly event to witness exciting poetry, spoken word, comedy or rap and musical performances.

“The night will not only be about the established performers. There is an open invitation to patrons to also show what they have. For those who want to showcase their talent, this is a good chance to do that,” a member of the organising team said.
