I’m ready for any role - Actress Mamaga
While some actors are selective about the kind of roles they play, others go all out to play any role because they believe it brings out their versatility.

One actress who belongs to the latter category is pretty actress Mamaga who says she is ready to play any role given her.
In an interview with Showbiz, Mamaga who doubles as a TV presenter said, ''Initially, whenever I'm called to act, I consider the role, time and the money involved before accepting a role because my understanding about the industry was different.
“Now, I'm ready for any role even when it comes with difficult challenges. I've realised that nobody is perfect so thinking about what people will say about me is not the best, rather coming out with the best of me to portray a character in a movie to serve its purpose should be my primary focus as an actress.
“ As an actress it is my responsibility to play a role to educate, inform and entertain consumers of our movies”, she said.
When asked if she's ready to feature in a pornographic movie, this was her response “In Ghana, we don't act porn so I don't think any producer will even think about casting me for a movie solely for sex. Every movie has its purpose. There may be sex scenes, even with that I won’t play it for the fun of it but the message it carries”,she said.
Mamaga has starred in movies like Pain, Stale Mates, Juliana The Maid, Red and recently featured in a Nollywood movie produced by Uchenna Mbunabo, titled 'Secret Desire' which had stars like Walter Anga, Chinenye Uyanna, Kisa Gbekle, Priscilla Austine and many others.
She told Showbiz, she hopes to be one of the greatest actresses ever to come from Ghana and she is working hard at it.
Real name Afima Kpodo, Mamaga was the host of The Hottest Spots TV Show on GTV.
Mamaga is an old student of OLA Girls and also studied Graphic and Web Design at IPMC.
