GIJ undergrad grabs top GN Media job

Pamela Boateng is gradually winning the hearts of listeners who tune in to First News Network, SpyderLee Entertainment TV and BTA, all on the first digital platforms.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz on Monday, the TV hostess said, “I have always wanted to be in the media, but my grandparents were against it. The journey in media began when I was given the opportunity after high school by DJ Ruben of Luv FM in Kumasi to become a pundit on his Private Party show on radio. I later joined Radio GIJ when I had admission to study in that institution.”

Just 23 years of age, Pamela is currently the Channel Manager for SpyderLee Entertainment TV, subsidiary of Group Nduom and draws inspiration from Naa Ashorkor of Starr FM and GH One TV fame as well as Jessica Opare Saforo of Citi FM, and aspires to be one of the leading names on Ghanaian television.

Pamela is currently in her final year studying Bachelor of Arts in Communication majoring Journalism at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
