According to Inna Marian Patty of Exclusive Events Ghana, organisers of Miss Ghana, Delali left Accra on November 25 and is part of the 118 contestants from all over the world who will compete for the crown.

“We are confident that Miss Kemavor will make Ghana proud as she participates in all the mini competitions such as the Fashion Show, Fitness, Cooking Competition, Talent Show and Beauty with a Purpose  in the round up to the grand finale,” she said.

The final of Miss World comes off on December 18 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, USA. This is the second time that the United States will host the pageant.

The pageant officially kicked off on November 26 when contestants converged in the USA to begin their final journey to the Miss World crown. This year’s event will be the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant.

Meanwhile, Delali has asked Ghanaians to support her on her official social media platforms, “Hello, my name is Antoinette Delali Kemavor, Miss Ghana 2015 representing Ghana at this year’s Miss World. Kindly download the Missworld app and vote Ghana to move me forward in the competition, counting on your support, love you all,” she said.

Miss Patty used the opportunity to call on Ghanaians and supporters of Ghana in the United States to go support Miss Kemavor on December 18 at the finals.

She also told Showbiz that this year’s edition of Miss Ghana did not come off because her outfit is preparing for Miss Ghana @ 60 next year.

In a related development, the UK High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin has joined a campaign to win more votes for Delali at the ongoing pageant.

“I met Delali, she is a real credit to Ghana, Vote for her. That’s definitely the only time I’m saying “vote for” this week I promise,” he said on Twitter last Friday.
