The family of the late gospel musician Danny Nettey has announced Saturday, September 3 as the date for his final funeral rites.
The funeral will take place at the State House of Ghana, Accra while a special Tribute Gospel Concert will be held at the forecourt of the same venue on Friday, September 2.
The pre-burial activities and filling past will be on Saturday, September 3, 2016 between 7: 00 am – 9: 00 am, followed by a burial service at the Osu Cemetery in Accra.
Nettey's family also announced a white attire as the dress code.
The late Danny died on Friday, July 15 at dawn after being found unconscious around 2:00 am in his room. The cause of his death remains unknown.
According to his uncle, Mr Dan Clottey, the family was, “Just overwhelmed by the reaction, both locally and internationally, to our beloved Danny’s death and we are most grateful to everybody.”
He added, “In all we give thanks, because Danny has completed his mission for His Maker, who has called him peacefully".
Danny Nettey had three albums to his credit – “Positive Change”, “This Time” and “I believe”.
