APPMC launches evangelism conference
The Actors, Presenters, Professionals and Musicians for Christ (APPMC) Ghana, founded by actor Timothy Bentum, is once again organising a conference aimed among others at winning souls for Christ.

This year’s event is scheduled for the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Friday, December 8.
Speaking at the press launch held at the Airport View Hotel on Wednesday, Timothy Bentum said celebrities have a great influence on the society and their followers and as such, their training up the work of God yield great results.
That, he said, had been his motivation when he set up APPMC and after six years, the organisation has engaged in various evangelism projects to reach out to people, especially the youth to stop vices that could harm their potentials.
“The world has been packaged in such an attractive manner that our young people are being enticed by it. We believe it is time to repackage the gospel and make it more attractive,” he stated.
Award winning actor, Majid Michel whose recent evangelism activities have made major headlines was all praise for the initiative.
“It is our mission to save souls and prepare people for the coming of Christ,” the Crime to Christ actor said.
The free admission event will have some popular figures like Majid Michel, Pascal Amanfo, Martha Ankomah, Mrs. Gloria Bentum, Jeremie Van-Garshong and Timothy himself speaking to the patrons on ways to shun negative lifestyles.
There will also be music ministrations from Abena Ruthy, Ceccy Twum, Joe Mettle and the P.I Crew.
Apart from the main conference, other activities for the day are health screening, bouncy castle, face painting and swinging for kids.
In the past years, APPMC has used its platform to raise funds to support various orphanages and drug rehabilitation centres.
