Abraham Attah wins another award

FIfteen year old Ghanaian actor, Abraham Attah added another award to his growing collection when he picked an Honorary Award at the 6th Annual 3G Media Awards held on Saturday, November 5 at the Inspirational Gospel Assembly Banquet Hall, in New York.

The award ceremony, organised by 3G Media Inc, an online news platform promoting Ghanaian and African affairs in the diaspora is in recognition of exceptional Ghanaian leaders and their contributions to the Ghanaian and global communities.

The event which was held in New York was also attended by some notable Ghanaian personalities including actors Prince David Osei and Vivian Achor.

In a chat with Showbiz, his manager, Mawuko Kuadje said Abraham Attah after picking up the award said, "Thanks to God for another award. Thank you 3G awards for honouring me and thanks to everyone who has supported me from the beginning till today. Even though we are all here in the US let us add our voice to the importance of peace in our country Ghana just as my foundation is doing. God bless us, God bless our motherland Ghana."

Abraham Attah is well known for his feature film debut in Netflix’s original feature film Beasts of No Nation which was directed by Emmy Award winning director, Cary Fukunaga and staring Hollywood actor Idris Elba. He played the leading role of child soldier,  Agu in the film.
