The song which is in Twi and Ga talks about a lover who is eagerly awaiting the return of his love interest. The duo talks about how much they have missed their lover and ask that she returns as soon as possible.

The song has a catchy rhythm reminiscent of previous songs the group released in the past which were well received by many music fans. The group’s popular catchphrase of “Wutah Fire” is also present throughout the song, reminding fans that they are back to stay.

The release of the new single, AK 47 was also used to announce to Ghanaians that the group has officially signed to record label NKZ Music, home of hiplife star, Guru.

In an interview with Showbiz, representative of NKZ Music, Babiee Dapaah, said the record label will be responsible for the management and promotional affairs of the group.

She said the group will be provided with the best of help the industry has to offer to ensure they leave a mark not only on the Ghanaian industry but Africa and beyond.

“We will be providing them with the best of engineers, producers, video directors and promotional campaigns to ensure their music makes an impact. We are rebranding Wutah not only for the Ghanaian market but the rest of the world as well,” she said.

Wutah came into the limelight in 2004 when it contested for the Nescafe Africa Revelation(NAR) music competition in Accra and came second to Praye. The name Wutah is a Hausa word which means fire.

Their debut album, Anamontuo, which has songs like Adonko, Goosie Gander and Big Dreams earned them eleven nominations including The Most Popular Song of the Year, Album Of the Year and Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2006.
