The twin sisters have been thrilling Ghanaians for 50 years with hit songs such as Anka Matete, Okamafo Jesus, Osombo,Yedi Nkunim, Fa Bibiara Ma No, Wo Ye Jesus, Watua M'aka, Manim Rengu Ase Da,  Akokyem, Stay In My Heart, Nyame Ye Kese among others.

On the night they are expected not to just take patrons through the Throne of Grace but also give a befitting farewell performance to outgoing resident pastor, Abraham Swanzy.

Under the theme, Praise To Our King, the 4pm programme will feature other notable gospel artistes such as Akesse Brempong, Naa Mercy, Kobby Mantey, Bra Kwaku and Oki Sekum.

There will also be a ministration from The Afro Maestros Orchestra Ensemble as well.

Since its inception in 2012, Upraiz Worship has not only provided the platform for people to just sing and dance along to performances from gospel musicians but also thank God for His protection in the year.

In an interview with Showbiz on Monday, Ms Salome Nkansah Asare, Assistant Publicity Head of Praise Achord, organisers of the event  said Upraiz Worship is all about “praise and worship in thanksgiving”.

“ Music will continually be part of our worship and as such, minstrels who are well-prepared will  be needed to make our worship services more exciting and soul inspiring till Jesus returns,’’ she said.

Formed as a small group by Emmanuel Kyei Boate and Fred Osei, Praise Achord has grown  in size and in 2012, started Upraiz Worship concert under the leadership of Nana Kofi Owusu and Edwin Abankwa.

Since then, it has held the annual concert to bring people from Dansoman and its environs under one roof to praise God.
