Senam bids her time with Ewuradi Be Sani

Like most gospel musicians who start their music careers in churches, Cynthia Alorku-Senam’s story is no different. She groomed her music talent when she performed at various churches.

And after years of practice, Senam believes it’s time to officially announce her presence on the gospel music scene and she does that with the release of her debut album, Ewuradi Be Sani.

Songs on the seven-track-album are Borborbor, Yesu Ye Magyenkwa, He Lives In Me, Born Out, Yaweh, The Lord of Reign and Ɔkamehu Daa.

Currently, Cynthia Alorku-Senam who prefers to be called Senam is promoting Ɔkamehu Daa and Borborbor.

On Ɔkamehu Daa, she praises her Maker for being with her through difficult times. She testifies about God’s favour in her life and how she has been lifted beyond the understanding of mortals.

Senam confirms her belief in the faithfulness of God and says she will never stop praising Him because she is a “testimony of His goodness”.

Senam praises God on Borborbor which is rendered in Twi, English and the French languages. Some Christians backslide in their faith in God but she assures such “sinners” of the merciful nature of God.

She might not have the very best of vocals on the gospel scene but Senam sure has the kind of voice that attracts listeners. Perhaps, the “magic” is in her deep voice.

In an interview with Showbiz, the mother of one said she is happy about the warm reception of her music, particularly by DJs who are playing it on the various radio stations.

Married to Frederick Atta-Aidoo, Senam said she admires Philipa Baafi  is her favourite gospel artiste. Professionally, she may be young on the scene but she has had the privilege of performing at many concerts with the recent being the June 3 disaster concert organised by TV3.
