Mix Masta Garzy declares Peace Forever
Responding to the massive calls for peace in the country, sound producer, Mix Masta Garzy has contributed his quota by releasing a song titled, Peace Forever in connection to this year’s elections.

The recently-released hiplife tune rendered in Twi, Ga, Hausa, Fante Dagbani features 10 artistes representing the various regions of the country. They are Naa Norley Kofi Metta, Snow B, Amerado, Tuba, Oteniba, Freda Rhymz, Ayesem, Torgbe and Renner whose raga added some spice to the song.
For Mix Masta Garzy, music is a powerful tool to bring about attitudinal change and the overall impression the artistes create on the song is the need for Ghanaians to appreciate the peace the country is enjoying which should not be exchanged for violence just because of political differences.
It might not be the everyday song people would love to jump on to but the Tema based producer says the import of the song is to send the message of peace across and not for “entertainment purposes”.
Written by award winning Hiphop artiste, Edem, the song also has the President of MUSIGA, Bice Osei Kuffour aka Obuor on it and he also emphasised the need for peace in the outro.
In the bid to get the message across the country, Mix Masta Garzy says the song featured many languages to get the masses to appreciate the essence of peace.
“I know many people are preaching peace in the country and for others, it may be needless but as Africans, we can’t lose sight of the negative impact political violence has caused our brothers and sisters in other African countries,” he said.
Mix Masta Garzy is touted as one of the reputable sound producers in the country and some of the songs he has worked on are D Cryme’s Alarm, Tiffany’s No More, VVIP’s Banger, Choirmaster’s Catwalk among many others.
And in the more immediate future, he says fans can look out for the music video of Peace Forever which is directed by Skyface.
