Lord Morgan releases Ayalolo

After 10 years in the music industry, Martens Martey Morgan, appears to have hit the market at the right time with his popular single, Ayalolo.

Ayalolo, a slogan coined from the Ga language (meaning moving on) is to demonstrate the musician’s unyielding fight to make it in the industry.

A 28-year-old former student of Leadership Training Institute at Afienya in the Greater Accra Region, Morgan’s long time relationship with the ‘big boys’ in the industry has certainly yielded the needed evidence and it showed in Ayalolo.

His first three releases although he featured some of the country’s best, may not be compared to Ayalolo because of its catchy and appetising lyrics.

From his Ampe release in which he featured Luther, to I Want To Dance featuring Choirmaster through to Destiny featuring Choirmaster once again; his partnership with Jupitar on Ayalolo song is simply great.

Fondly called Lord Morgan in show business, the musician together with his manager, Bright Dwomoh are excited that even before the song could gain currency, it has been adopted by some political leaders albeit clandestinely.

Whether it’s by sheer coincidence or planned, President John Dramani Mahama appeared to have bought into the slogan when he used it during his Accounting to the People’s Tour in the Greater Accra Region.

Indeed, during the official launch of the new buses in Accra, the president fondly said “the buses have arrived; you can see the buses at the back there. The terminal has been completed. Ayololo bus service, a very appropriate name for this system”.

The song was produced by sound engineers, Mix Masta Garzy and Mr Brown Beatz.
