Adisa, which features Hiplife artiste, Sarkodie talks about Kobby Simple’s attempts to woo the lady of his heart.

On Adisa, Kobby Simple sings that although he has met numerous women in his life,  never has he met anyone as perfect as Adisa and as a result,  he promises to be true to her for the rest of his life.

Kobby Simple’s love for Adisa leads him to request a meeting with her parents and even promises to convert to Islam just to secure Adisa’s love.

Sarkodie, who is featured on the song goes outside his comfort zone by singing in both Ga and Ewe languages many Ghanaians have rarely heard him use in any of his songs.

Sarkodie sings that meeting Adisa has given him peace and contentment and asks for God’s blessing for his lovely Adisa.

Sarkodie’s singing on Adisa adds a unique dimension to the song which makes it stand out from numerous others.

In an interview with Showbiz, Kobby Simple, real name, Kobina Abavana said his primary motivation for Adisa was to produce a breakthrough single which would propel him to mainstream music after many years being underground.

Adisa is a classic Highlife song and kudos to Sarkodie for doing his magic on the song. Sarkodie was recording his Mary album when he did my verse so I believe he was still in his element and he brought that to bear on Adisa,” he said.

He told Showbiz that he has been doing music for almost six years now and relocated to Accra after graduating from the University of Cape Coast in order to pursue music fulltime.
