KB Empire to ‘rescue’ young musicians

The cost of music production has been a headache for young musicians who manage their careers themselves and this trend has contributed to early extinction of such young talents.

Luck, however, seems to have smiled on them with an announcement by KB Empire to help young musicians with their video productions.

Speaking to Showbiz on Thursday,  Mr Kwabena Boateng, CEO of KB Empire, said he conceived the idea after hearing “troubling stories” of how many up and coming musicians work very hard to get their music out.

According to the man whose company has nurtured talents of young musicians such as Afiba and Iyk Wonder,  “Some of the stories that have come to me are very worrying and after several considerations, I decided to come out with this package as my little token to the industry development,” he stated.

The package Kwabena Boateng is offering involves the shooting of videos at a reduced price.

“The cost of shooting a quality video is quite expensive especially at a time when TV stations consider that before playing them on air thus this initiative is a sure way to help them.

This “good Samaritan” project isn’t new to the KB Empire family. Last year, the record label signed on some underground artistes and Kwabena Boateng is hopeful that with its in-house video director, Kwake Olembe, they will put smiles on the faces of struggling artistes.
