Fishbone says thanks with Big Up

Ghanaians have embraced the dancehall genre and accepted it as one of the most respected in the country and it is therefore no surprise the massive audience it has garnered so far. One of such artistes joining the bandwagon and making a name for himself is sensational dancehall artiste, Fishbone Corleone.

The fast rising dancehall artiste, in a bid to appreciate these numerous fans across the country has released an appreciation song which he titles, Big Up, to thank the fans for supporting the genre.

Big Up, which was produced by Appietus tends to thank fans for appreciating the genre and making it one of the most patronised genre in the country.

Real name Ibrahim Musah, he explained the song to Showbiz last Tuesday that, appreciating fans goes a long way in helping the career of an artiste.

“We as artistes tend to forget the fans who made us at the end of the day. This song is to let the fans know that we appreciate their efforts in making us", he explained.

He added that, “Big Up is to strengthen the relationship between myself and the fans. I also want to encourage them not to give up in life but rather to focus on the bigger result".

Known for his energetic performances, the Sankofa singer released the song on Thursday, November 24, on various online music platforms such as Modern Ghana, Gh Exclusive and Beenie Words.

Noted for his advocacy for peace through his songs, Fishbone sends shoutouts to the various communities such as Newtown, Nima, Fadama, Korle Gonno, Teshie and Dansoman for their continuous support and contribution to the genre.

Fishbone who has worked with Chameleon and Tumani 7 is hoping to work with the likes of Jamaican dancehall ariste, Chronix, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
