Eye Judah joins Freedom Cry Records
Rising Dancehall act, Eye Judah, last Friday, March 17, signed a five year record deal with Freedom Cry Records, at an event held in Accra. The event was also used to announce the launch of the new record label, Freedom Cry Records to the rest of the world.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, General Manager of Freedom Cry Records, Karl Gidiglo said his outfit is an artiste management, event organising and sound management company that is poised to make its mark on the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
He said Freedom Cry Records intends to liaise with bigger distribution companies worldwide to ensure their products are globally distributed.
“Freedom Cry Records will do everything possible to provide a worthy working environment for its artiste’s staff and affiliates,” he said.
Mr Gidiglo pointed out that the entertainment industry in Ghana has evolved and has seen much improvement and growth especially in the number of artistes springing up who are struggling to find their place in the industry.
“It is in line with this that we have decided to play a role to contribute immensely to the creative industry,” he said.
Speaking about his decision to sign Eye Judah, Karl said, the artiste was selected based on his talent, hard work and understanding of the industry.
“I have been working with Eye Judah for some time now and I can say that he is one of the artistes who is going to lift the flag of Ghana high in future,” he said.
