In Calamity, Ephraim sings the praises of his new found love. He talks about how he is unable to take his eyes off his lady. And how her backside stirs up his sexual desires.

 “Your body is your problem

And it causing calamity

Man no dey fit concentrate

Girl you bad

Badder than bad

You are hotter than hot.....” are some lyrics of the song.

Ephraim in an interview with Showbiz said, “when we start dating, we are detailed in our conversation, we are specific in our appreciation of our partner’s appearance but with time, we forget the praise and appreciation. You see, familiarity breeds contempt. So this song is just to tell people in romantic relationships not to take these things for granted”.

According to the CEO Of Ephraim Musiq, the song also encourages women with big behinds to flaunt it.

“They don’t have to be ashamed of their endowment, they should be proud and flaunt it. It is God given and need to be appreciated as everything God created is beautiful”, the Baby Alhaji singer said.

Calamity is sang in Twi, Pidgin and Ewe this is because his fans cuts across all dialects.

“Experience had taught me that, there are other ethnic groups who love my music so I do well to consider them when writing lyrics for my songs,” he said.

As a sound engineer, Ephraim has produced beats for musicians such as Opanka, Samini, Castro, Ruff n Smooth, Tic Tac and VVIP.
