Dobble back together
Almost a year after going their separate ways due to creative differences, Nana Yaw and Paa Kwasi, members of the music duo Dobble, have reunited.

In an interview with Showbiz, Paa Kwasi who spoke on behalf of the group, said the decision to reunite was as a response to their fans and event organisers who have been affected by their absence.
“We had a lot of requests from fans who wanted to hear and see Dobble perform on stage as well as event organisers.
“ Many event organisers wanted to feature us as Dobble but our split was preventing this and thus as a result we decided to reunite in order to fulfil the wishes of our fans,” Paa Kwasi said.
He however added that although they were reunited as Dobble, each member of the group will still focus on their primary solo careers and only perform as Dobble at concerts and other gigs.
“We might be back together but this is not like as before. We will each be focusing on our individual songs and careers but we come together as Dobble when it is necessary to perform and honour other similar engagements,” he said.
Touching on whether the duo would be treating their fans to any new songs or videos as Dobble, Paa Kwasi told Showbiz that the duo still had some fresh material that they are yet to release to the public.
“Before the split,we had some songs and videos that were yet to be released so our fans should expect to hear some new songs from Dobble,” he said.
Touching on what caused the split, Paa Kwasi answered that he never had any personal problems with Nana Yaw but the split was brought about by the fact that Nana Yaw’s interest and spirit were no longer in the group and as a result he wanted to pursue a solo career.
“Nana Yaw and I still have a good relationship so our come back as Dobble should not come as a surprise.
‘ We are still at liberty to pursue our individual musical careers so fans will get to see us alone on stage sometimes and together as a group as well,” he added.
