Della Hayes launches new single
Singer Della Hayes was in a bubbly mood and smiled broadly throughout the night at the La Villa Boutique Hotel at Osu in Accra recently where her new single, Let’s Have a Party, was launched.

It was a generally lively atmosphere at the outdooring of the song which features the famous Freddie Meiway of Cote d’Ivoire.
Perhaps to signify the fun theme of the song, there was enough supply of drinks and finger foods to help everyone around enjoy the moment.
The song was produced by Bessa Simons at his Dibess Studio at Baatsonaa, off the Spintex Road in Accra.
It has Della delivering in her usual sweet voice as Meiway complements with his dynamic, compelling voice.
“We had a lot of fun working on the song and we are both happy with the final result,” Della said about the collaboration.
She has been singing for over three decades and has worked with names like Smart Nkansah, Jewel Ackah, Ebo Taylor, Kari Bannerman, Paulina Oduro and Amandzeba in the past.
She formed the first all-women band in this country in 2009 and currently leads the Women of Colour band.
Among the personalities present to support Della at the well-attended launch were Akunu Dake, Elivava, Dela Botri, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Diana Hopeson and Col Faat.
A video of the song, shot in Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire, was also shown at the programme.
Let’s Have a Party is Della’s second solo project, with support from Umbra Ghana Limited, after the release of her 12-track, From Africa with Love album around 2010.
