One such artiste is Daniel Adjei, an assistant Revenue Rank Officer at the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Customs Division in Accra who is ready to launch his debut album titled, Memfata.

The launch which will take place at the City of God church, All Nations school on Sunday, October 30, will have guest performances from SP Kofi Sarpong, Hannah Marfo and Nana Yaw.

Songs on the album which explores God’s faithfulness are the title track, Memfata, I don't know, Jesus defender, Ontonko, Omanbapa, Obi ntes3wo, Sane among others.

Most of the songs in the collection are smooth danceable highlife pieces. There are, however, songs with the worship feel and slow worship formula which has become the signature of many Ghanaian gospel artistes.

The overall impression he creates with his debut album, the father of three told Showbiz on Friday, is to sing of God’s faithfulness and the reward for serving him wholeheartedly.

“If you are sincere in your heart and appreciate God’s grace, you will taste his glory at the right time because God will propel you to greatness which is a sign of His blessings,” he said.

A native of Aburi Akuapem in the Eastern Region, Daniel who was born and bred in Akyem Appinamang said he had the passion for music at a very young but had to wait for the “ripe moment to blossom and make an impact”.

He told Showbiz that even though his profession as a custom officer may have slowed him down charting the music path, he has been inspired by the successful music career of SP Sarpong.

“He has really inspired many of us in the security sector and he has been my greatest inspiration in taking this bold decision to launch my debut album,” he stated.

Currently, Danny who is a under the management of record label, Kwaaji Music Productions holds Bsc Law, LLB from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. He is also a product of the University of Capecoast and Kumasi Polytechnic.
