On the song recorded by Bra Emma, the artiste expresses his views on the need for politicians to put an end to empty promises and rather work for the interest of the people who elect them into office.

Mr Politician is about corruption, high unemployment and the many situations which bring hardship to the people.

He calls on the political leaders to heed to the cries of the people who reposed their confidence in them by giving them the mandate to lead them.

He advises the youth not to allow themselves to be used for any violent acts during the upcoming elections. He also asked them to avoid politics of insults.

With a catchy chorus and a simple message, Big Borax hopes to get politicians to heed to what he is saying in Mr Politician.

Big Borax describes Mr Politician as a wake –up call to African politicians.

“The song is a global song which talks to any political leader around the world and it is my prayer that it brings the needed change,” he said in a chat with Showbiz on Monday.

He believes musicians have a bigger platform to address issues of national interest other than always limiting themselves to love and party themed songs.

Born Nathaniel A. Larbie, Big Borax shot to fame with his hit single, Aseɛhɔ.

He is also known for songs such as Nana Yaa, Eyɛ Onua, Tene Wo Nsa, Take Off Your Pants and Make A Move.

Big Borax who is furthering his education at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) said the video of Mr Politician is currently being shown on GTV, GhOne TV and Metro TV.
