Ben Adjei crowned best male vocal

Music director, singer and song writer Ben Adjei has been crowned Best Male Vocal at the maiden edition of Choral Awards held recently at College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Organised by Dugix Company Limited, the award scheme seeks to acknowledge and appreciate the contributions and support of choral groups and individuals who have helped in diverse ways to develop choral music.

He beat the likes of Prosper Afenu, Vishun Coleman, Edwin Habib and Cecil Plang to emerge winner. Ben grabbed the award due to his commitment and contribution to the choral fraternity over the years.

A graduate of University of Ghana, Ben Adjei   has taught and worked with numerous choirs and churches such as Winneba Youth Choir, (Winneba), Harmonious Chorale (Accra), Christ the King Catholic Church Choir (Cantonment-Accra), Mount Olivet Singing Band among others.

Talking to Showbiz, Ben Adjei said hard work is what has gotten him this far adding that he really appreciates all those who encouraged him and acknowledges his efforts in diverse ways.

He expressed his gratitude to anyone who has given him the platform to show his God given talent.
