Ama Ghansah launches ‘Me Som Wo’
New artiste on the gospel scene, Rev Ama Ghansah is set to launch her maiden album titled Me Som Wo, on Saturday, April 8, at the Life International Church, Achimota.

The songs on the album are Mi Wor Jesus, Mesom Wo, Mighty God, Hymns Medly, David Ndwom and Praise Medley.
In an interview with Showbiz on Wednesday, Ama Ghansah, who is the niece of celebrated Ghanaian gospel singer, Mary Ghansah said the songs on the six-track album were birthed out of deep meditation and inspiration from God.
She told Showbiz that the focus of the album is to bring people’s hearts and minds towards who God is.
One of the songs, Mi Wor Jesus is a slow worship song which talks about Ama’s decision to look up to Jesus due to His faithfulness and love. Mesom Wo follows in a similar vein and talks about God’s greatness and grace.
“On Mesom Wo, I was just pondering on the challenges I faced in my life and my resolve that despite this, I will still serve the Lord. As Christians, no matter the circumstances we find ourselves, it should not change how we serve the Lord. Our service to God should not be based on whether we have or do not have,” she said.
Artistes expected to support Ama Ghansah at her album launch are Mary Ghansah, Selina Boateng, Perry Lokko, Calvis Hammond, Rev Cynthia McCauley among a host of others.
She urged the public to attend the 2 pm event to experience an atmosphere of worship, a time of renewal of spirit and a saturation of the presence of God. “You are not just coming to see Ama Ghansah or Mary Ghansah but you will be experiencing God in a different way,” she said.
Ama Ghansah is a product of the Holy Child Senior High School who furthered her education at the University of Cape Coast. She later attended the Victory Lay Pastors Academy in the UK and she is the founder of Youth-In-Focus, which has branches on various campuses in the country.
