It is a follow-up to his Hello piece that gained nomination in the Best Male Vocalist category at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The award- winning songwriter, singer and producer explained that Naadu is just a figurative expression of a man seeking to confess his deep affection for his loved one and his inability to survive without her. The name, however, is not connected to any particular woman. The song is in the Afro-pop vein with a touch of RnB.

Akwaboah Jnr, came onto the scene in 2009 when he wrote Daa Ke Daa for Becca. He also wrote Ayeyi Ndwom for SP Kofi Sarpong and Best In Me for Efya. With those successes, he won the hearts of many music lovers in Ghana and beyond.

He is tagged as the ‘ladies’ man’ and his personality, voice and brand of music have won the hearts of both young and old women.

He has since carved a niche for himself with love songs such as I Do Love You, Nsroma, Medo, Mesan Agye Wo, Forever featuring Okyeame Kwame, God Bless You Mama and Hello featuring Sakordie.

He has also featured on songs for a variety of artistes including Sarkodie, Edem and Adina.
