Akesse Brempong roars with new single
After ‘devouring’ the local and international scenes with his award winning song, Crazy Love, gospel reggae artiste, Akesse Brempong roaring with yet another single.

The song titled Roar, released two days ago on iTunes, YouTube, Google play and CDbaby, and already getting great reviews, is a third single released by Akesse from an album he is working on.
The 4.48 minutes song talks about the power of God and how He intends to bring to an end the oppression of evil forces in the life of the Christian.
A line from the song goes like this Who can stand before you when you roar? ....oh roar, Lion of Judah, roar…Darkness runs to hide….
The catchy-tune and easy-to sing song is very danceable and sounds nice to the ears. The God is Working artiste once again proved on this song that he has the niche for coming out with great works.
In an interview with Showbiz on Friday, Akesse Brempong, also the Head of Corporate Communications at Pentecost University and the Creative Director for Zig Communications, a Graphic Design company at Tantra Hill, stated that an accident inspired the song.
‘‘The song was inspired by an accident I had two years ago. I was from a meeting and my brakes failed. I should have died but God told me that I was spared because the ‘lion of the tribe of Judah’ roared and brought some sanity into my situation against my enemies’ plans. When the lion roars, sanity prevails,’’ he said.
Akesse who has an album, Songs In The Night to his credit thinks that the gospel music industry is fast growing, especially the contemporary gospel music and getting Ghanaian music world recognition.
“ We are getting a lot of international attention, thereby widening the reach of our music. The likes of Joe Mettle, Cwesi Oteng, Nii Okai, KODA and myself have won international awards and made huge strides internationally. That is a great thing for our industry’’, the Closer singer said.
