Akablay to outdoor ‘Edoke’ album

Guitar player, Akablay, will launch his latest album with a concert on Saturday, April 1, at the Alliance Francaise in Accra.

The seven-track Edoke album is coming after the award-winning guitarist’s Life In The Pot, Flipside of Life and Genesis of Life collections.

Akablay will be backed at the concert by his Abiza Band comprising Eric Kofi (drums), Gadiel Amoah (bass) and Original Ray (keyboards).

Other musicians expected to perform at the launch include rapper and singer, Trigmatic; guitarist, Nathaniel Braddock from the United States and Nigerian pianist,   Funsho Ogundipe.

A former member of the famous Western Diamonds Band, Akablay released a single titled,   Take Away early last year which became a big hit with music lovers across the country.
