He put up a spirit filled performance that did not only outshine all performers including those who flew down from the US, South Africa and Nigeria, but saw most of the audience on their feet while others including MUSIGHA President, Obuor laid prostrate in total submission to God.

Others simply thronged to the front of the stage and stared in awe, while Elder Mireku turned the concert into a crusade experience and led many to accept Christ.

With hit songs such as Wose Ayeyi, Yesu N’adom, Odimafo, Waka Neaye Akyere among others in praise and worship, patrons refused to go even after he ended his one hour performance which closed the 2016 edition of the concert which was organised by Imajin Advertising.

MTN Ghana Stands in Worship, is touted as the biggest outdoor gospel event in Ghana. This year’s started with a beautiful choreography and impressive performances by choirs from Royalhouse Chapel International, Lighthouse Chapel, Charismatic Evangelistic Minisries, Harvest Chapel International and the MTN Viva voices, who justified their inclusion having had bad performances in previous editions.

American gospel icon, Micah Stampley who headlined the show also gave a good account of himself, while Nigerian star, Nathaniel Bassey of “Imela” fame also performed to satisfaction.

The concert was part of activities marking MTN 20th anniversary.
