1022 Laughs and Music showdown. Can Foster, OB and Lexzy Decomic do it?
The view out there is that, it is a stage that can make or unmake a comedian’s career shine or dip.

Funny Face had his biggest comedy break on that platform and so did DKB about four years apart. However, there are others who attempted but could not shine and have since been consigned to the comedy back burner.
Come this Saturday, August 6, another installment in the night of 1000 Laugh series will take place at the Accra International Comference Centre(AICC) and on the bill to perform are three Ghanaian comedians: Foster Romanus, OB Amponsah and Lekzy Decomic.
Recently, Foster Romanus stood on that stage as the MC and he came out with flying colours. OB, the medical doctor by day and comedian by night, was on the same stage as Foster and like Foster, delivered an A+ performance.
Lekzy Decomic is the new comedy kid on the block. His biggest break was on DKB’s Point of View stand up show where his delectable performance may have contributed to his invitation to perform at the Night of 1022 Laughs and Music.
The headline act on the night is Destalker who is said to be the current most entertaining Nigerian comedian whose acts have had great reviews by industry players and fans.
He has performed on many platforms, thrilling audiences on the continent. He will lead a team of Nigerian comedians to the show on Saturday.
Along with Destalker from Nigeria will be I Go Dye and Acapella to set the stage ablaze.
On the music side, there will be performances by Ackah Blay, Adina, Kids and Abena of MTN Hit Maker 5 fame.
With these carefully selected comedians from Ghana and Nigeria, we will be cheering Romanus, OB and Lekzy to come out blazing and if that happens, the Night of 1022 Laughs and Music will be one to be remembered.
