She made the remarks during a meeting with editors of GCGL, during which she celebrated her silver jubilee in the music industry by cutting and sharing her annversay cake with them.

The former president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) added that GCGL has been a "rock to her ministry" over the years by amplifying her exploits, thus she could not celebrate her milestone without appreciating their boost to her career and overall contributions to the creative industry.

After presenting the Editors with a plaque praising the contributions of GCGL as well as copies of her new single titled Aseda, she also gave the editors an auditory treat by performing the new track with backing from a stellar cast which included renowned gospel musicians, Mary Ghansah and Bernice Offei.

Members of Mrs Hopeson's delegation included her manager Quame Daqua, keyboardist Emmanuel "Crazy Keys" Yeboah, Michael Antonio and Deborah Agyenim Boateng.

The plaque was received on behalf of the GCGL by the Editor of the Graphic Showbiz, Adwoa Serwa Bonsu, who expressed gratitude to Mrs Hopeson for the recognition, praying that her career will grow from strength to strength.

Other GCGL Editors present at the meeting were Ransford Tetteh (Daily Graphic), Isaac Yeboah (Graphic Online), Janet Quartey (Mirror), Felic Abayateye (Graphic Sports) and Mavis Kitcher (Junior Graphic).
