Stanbic donates to Dzorwulu Special School

The Finance Department of Stanbic Bank Ghana has presented items worth GH¢10,000 to the Dzorwulu Special School in Accra.

They include 50 pieces of student mattresses, 100 pieces of treated mosquito nets, 112 yards of fabrics for uniforms and confectionaries.

The presentation was in response to a demand made by officials of the school to the bank.

Reason for donation

Presenting the items, the Chief Finance Officer of the bank, Mr Kunle Adedeji, said the donation was the department’s ‘widow’s mite’ to the school.

He said once in a while, departments of the bank raises funds within for presentation to the underprivileged, the needy and the poor in society.

“So this year, we decided to adopt the Dzorwulu Special School and put smiles on the faces of the children and the authorities,” he said.
