The series, which is woven around the dealings of a business consultancy, is expected to offer mass education and sensitisation to entrepreneurs in a continuous, sustainable and entertaining manner.

This series will be about the continuous growth of a young consultancy and its dealing with diverse business entities.

At the launch, the Producer of the series, Mr Kwame Boadi, said the major developmental threat to our nation at present was youth unemployment, and if 85 per cent of Ghanaians “are employed by SMEs, then it is a no-brainer that they must be helped to scale up to create more employment.”

“That is the soul of Solutions. We are using television and radio to reach Ghanaians and offer education on important matters related to entrepreneurship and SMEs,” he said.

“The Help Station, which is a business consultancy, is geared towards providing businesses with the requisite business support, advisory services, adequate financing, coaching and match-making,” he added.

He said the mission of the Help Station was to be the one-stop destination for the provision of innovative and tailor-made business growth solutions to challenges of SMEs in Ghana.

“Through this collaboration, Premium Bank, AGI and inGenius Africa hope that SMEs in Ghana will be scaled up, become technologically savvy and expand to absorb more workers,” he noted.

“Hopefully this will help to bring to reality the 8th of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which aims to promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all,” he added.

Solutions will be premiered on TV3. Screening will begin in the last week of November and it will be replayed on Joy Prime in February.

Another novelty of SOLUTIONS is the radio drama component which is rendered predominantly in Akan, and will start airing from next year. — GB
