At the opening ceremony, the Deputy Managing Director, Finance, Administration and Credit Administration of the bank,  Mr Stephen Asare, said the new branch was in line with the bank’s strategic objective of building a stronger bank with a customer-friendly focus.

He said the bank was focused on building an indigenous and preferred brand that offered the most remunerative banking services to the public.

In pursuit of this, Mr Asare noted that the bank was providing domestic and international banking services with a strategic focus on project financing, export development and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) financing.

He noted that products and services offered by the bank had been designed to provide a delightful customer experience and a one-stop-shop banking service to all customers.

The bank, according to him, was in the process of launching its Visa Cards services later this year to complement other banking services that would include credit facilities, international banking, international money transfer, specialised retail banking, electronic banking, bank accounts of different forms in both local and foreign currencies and funds management.

The acting Deputy Managing Director, Banking Operations of the bank explained that the objective of establishing the branch was to ensure customers were offered the best and most rewarding banking services, adding that customers’ expectation would be met with a unique service culture.

He urged the public to sign on to the numerous products and services offered by the bank to build a relationship that would yield mutual benefits.
