NDK launches CSR Foundation
NDK Financial Services Limited has launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Foundation to serve as the vehicle through which it will support segments of the society.

The foundation has the overall responsibility of identifying the viable projects/programmes of NDK’s CSR activities which shall fall within the areas of education, health and sports.
Education would focus on infrastructural development in the educational sector and establishment of scholarship schemes to assist needy, brilliant students while health would focus on infrastructural development in the health sector and assisting with specific health needs of identified individuals.
Sports, on the other hand would focus on hockey and the development of the infrastructural needs related to it.
At the launch, a seed money of GH¢ 2 million was set aside to run the foundation. The activities of the foundation would be funded by the company.
Among others, the aims and objectives of the foundation shall be to promote NDK’s CSR activities as enshrined in the mission, vision and strategic objectives of NDK.
Prof. Ellen Bortei-Doku Aryeetey of the Centre for Social Policy Studies (CSPS) of the University of Ghana is the Chairperson of the foundation’s Board of Trustees.
The other members are Mr Kwame Essah, Marketing and Sports Management Expert; Ms Kuorkor Dzani, Deputy Managing Director, NDK Financial Services; Mr Stephen Ntiri, Divisional Head of Finance, NDK Financial Services; Dr. Lawrence Sireboe, Director of the National Cardiothoracic Centre and Mr D.N.O Sackey, Board Member, NDK Financial Services.
The Board Chairman of NDK Financial Services Limited, Mr Richard Akpokavie, said the launch of the foundation formed part of the company’s quest to contribute effectively to the socio economic development of Ghana through education, health and sports.
Prof. Aryeetey said the members would execute the task given them.
