Heritage Bank partners RIA, MoneyGram, Western Union
Heritage Bank Limited has introduced specialised remittance service for its customers and the general public.

This follows a successful integration with three globally recognised remittance partners, namely RIA Money Transfer, Western Union Money Transfer and MoneyGram.
Customers and members of the general public can now access their remittances with ease through Ria, Western Union and MoneyGram across all Heritage Bank’s branches.
This move forms part of the bank’s drive to provide targeted and ultra-convenient banking solutions to Ghanaians.
The Managing Director (MD) of the bank, Mr Patrick Fiscian, reiterated that the hallmark of Heritage Bank was convenience; and thus with the inception of these money transfer services, recipients
would be assured of enjoying Heritage Bank’s signature customer experience dubbed ‘The Heritage Experience’.
He, therefore, urged the general public to troop to Heritage Bank branches, especially during the busy period ahead of the upcoming holiday season, to experience fast and hassle-free remittance services.
Mr Fiscian stated, “We believe that all the services we offer must be distinct by virtue of our unique brand of customer experience which permeates and defines how we serve and interact with our customers.
“With this in mind, we have taken our time to ensure robust, speedy and secure integration with the systems of our various money transfer partners.”
Differentiated remittance service
The General Manager, Retail Banking, Mr Mark Acheampong, expressed delight at the take-off of the bank’s remittance service, adding: “We have worked tirelessly with our partners and all other stakeholders to ensure that we roll out a truly differentiated remittance service that makes the customer’s remittance transaction as effortless and easy as can be.
“Customers and non-customers of the bank can now troop to our various branches and enjoy the convenience of receiving their remittances from family, friends, business partners and associates across the globe.”
He added, “Our overarching aim is to create convenience for our customers and trigger widespread growth opportunities for individuals and businesses within the communities in which we serve.”
