Finance Executives honoured at 3rd Ghana CFO Awards
Some top finance executives in the country were last Saturday honoured at the 3rd Ghana Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) Awards held at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.
Speaking at the event, Akin Naphtal, CEO of Instinct Wave said financial institutions, government agencies and finance departments deserve recognition for their contribution to the economy.

He said the annual awards are designed to reward finance specialist in the industry for the transformational role they played in strengthening the financial management of the company’s they lead.
He added that excelling in a challenging industry like the finance industry demonstrated financial leadership that ensures sustainable business models continue to drive the successful operations of company’s hence must be celebrated.
“With such a diverse set of attributes, characteristics and circumstances to consider and a role that seems to be continuously evolving. These varied roles make a CFO’s job more complex than ever. Therefore it’s very important that we celebrate and honour our finance experts,” said.
The Awards celebrated the innovation and vision of CFOs whose outstanding leadership practices have raised the standards of accountability within the profession and supported the nation’s economic growth.
The awards night also provided an opportunity for stakeholders in the finance sector to network and reinforces relationships within the industry.
