Enterprise Life introduces high end products

Enterprise Life, has introduced two new products targeted at Ghanaians who fall within the middle and higher executive classes.

The products, the Enterprise Living Plus Plan and the Enterprise Executive Plus Plan, were developed after detailed and extensive research on what constituted value for the high end market, the Executive Director of Enterprise Life, Mrs Jacqueline Benyi, said.

The Enterprise Living Plus Plan is a one-stop life insurance solution product specifically designed to meet both the death and survival needs of the middle-class market, while the Enterprise Executive Plus Plan has a similar goal but it is targeted at the executive market. 

Mrs Benyi launched the products and said they would provide an opportunity for “bread winners” in this market segment to sustain the standard of living of their families when the misfortunes of life occurred. 

“With a resolve to offer solutions to all segments of the market to give them the ‘enterprise advantage’ , we are launching the Enterprise Life Executive Products.”

“We have created value as we believe these solutions offer Ghanaian executives and the emerging affluent middle class an opportunity to sustain the standard of living of their families even when life misfortunes occur,” she said. 

Mrs Benyi stated that the strength and successes of the company had largely been in the low and middle markets space without creating any solution for the high end of the market which is a very niche market, hence the new products. 

 “Additionally, we have employed tools both pre-sales and after sales to make this high end journey to financial protection not only convenient but enjoyable,” she said. 

Innovative products

The Commissioner of the National Insurance Commission (NIC), Ms Lydia Lariba Bawa, reiterated the need for insurance companies to invest in research and innovation to be able to develop relevant products for the sector. 

“There is a big need for effective research and innovation in the area of product development. We need to make available a wide range of products that meet the needs of the various segments of the population,” she said. 

She commended Enterprise Life for continuously coming up with innovative products to meet the 

insurance needs of Ghanaians since its inception. 

Enterprise at 15

Meanwhile, the company has held a thanksgiving service to celebrate the goodness of God as part of activities marking its 15th year of operation in Ghana.

Mrs Benyi said the company was issued its licence to commence life insurance operations on September 11, 2001 and it has since provided adequate financial protection to the Ghanaian market. 

“Over the years, we have been driven with sheer passion and have provided innovative and affordable life insurance solutions that give people an advantage in life. By this, we not only pioneered the sale of funeral insurance but also an all-ladies protection policy,” she said.

She added, “over our 15 years of operations, our bouquet of insurance solutions both retail and corporate, we believe have inured to the advantage of Ghanaian families.”
