Ecobank Ghana partners Ria Money Transfer
Ecobank Ghana has partnered Ria Money Transfer to offer remittance pay-out services across Ghana.

The new service allows Ecobank Ghana’s customers to receive remittances directly into their bank accounts. Both account and non-account holders can also collect cash transfers in minutes at any of the bank’s 77 branches, or through 167 sub-agent locations across Ghana.
Some of the sub-agents of Ecobank include Beige Capital, Utrak Savings and Loans, Alpha Capital, Pan African Savings and Loans and Golden Link.
The Managing Director of Ecobank Ghana, Mr Daniel Sackey, said in Accra on March 3 that the partnership with Ria would provide Ghanaians living in the United Kingdom and the United States of America an opportunity to use the service to send money to family and friends in Ghana.
“We are excited about this partnership, as it provides us with the opportunity to bring convenience to the numerous Ghanaian patrons of funds transfer services,” he said
The bank, he explained, was focused on providing accessible and convenient banking, as well as promoting final inclusion across all levels of society to its customers.
“As a bank, we continue to intensify our efforts to serve customers better by providing convenience and accessibility, and we do this through strategic partnerships with selected institutions locally and internationally,” he said.
He added that “looking ahead, our goal is to ensure that our customers are able to access their funds more conveniently through our digital offerings such as ATMs, account based money transfer and our mobile APP, among others.”
