It said it intended to do this by deepening its footprints in the Ghanaian economy and Africa as a whole.

The Regional Sales Director for Bosch West/Central Africa, Mr Benjy Ofori, at the company’s dealers and end users conference, said by increasing its footprint, it intended to make sure its products and services were available everywhere.

The conference created a platform for Bosch Ghana to interact with its customers.

The maiden conference comprised presentations, training session and exhibition, during which information on Bosch’s products and services portfolios for Ghana were shared with the participants.

Dealers and distributors at the event were taken on a tour of the tools exhibition area to view the various tools and also have a one-on-one session with the Bosch service support team.

Mr Ofori indicated that the significance of the event was to underline its commitment to building and fostering sustainable business relationship with its customers. It also aimed at building their customers’ confidence in their brands on the market.

“Among other things, we seek to achieve this through strengthening Bosch’s presence in the market, creating brand awareness, providing local training to users and retailers, offering affordable tools and extending our distribution coverage,” he said.

He also noted that it would be looking at reinforcing its brand visibility in the hardware market through new innovations, such as specialised outlets, and also by extending distribution within key cities such as Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi.

He said the company achieved a 15 per cent growth in 2015 and had set a target of 25 per cent for itself in 2016.
