Airtel Money partners UBA Bank
Airtel Money and United Bank for Africa (UBA) have announced a partnership that would enable UBA customers to seamlessly link their accounts to their Airtel Money wallets.

The partnership would also allow customers to fully integrate their accounts, to move funds between accounts, check their balances, make purchases including airtime, data bundles and online shopping etc using Airtel Money.
Commenting on the latest partnership, the Head of Operations, Airtel Money, Mrs Theresa Adade, said Airtel Money was delighted to partner UBA to offer their joint customers the convenience of integrating their accounts and to benefit from the limitless options available from UBA and Airtel Money.
She said this collaboration promised to enrich the experience of their customers as they transact from anywhere in the country and beyond.
“The partnership also widens the transaction channel for all Airtel Money customers and agents across the country – giving them access to E-value at UBA branch networks nationwide,” she stated.
For his part, the Head, Digital Banking Sales at UBA, Mr Johnson Olakunmi, said the service had been carefully designed in alignment with UBA’s strategy of democratising the delivery of banking services across all levels.
“We believe that this new services will create the much needed bridge to excellent banking services offered by UBA while offering unmatched convenience for Airtel Money users,” he said.
He pointed out that the partnership would also extend UBA’s coverage through the over 20,000 Airtel Money agent points nationwide as mutual customers of UBA and Airtel Money could easily deposit and withdraw cash from their bank accounts at any Airtel Money agent point.
