Accra Brewery relaunches Beta Malt

Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) has launched a campaign to increase awareness of its non-alcoholic beverage, Beta Malt. Known as the ‘The only way up,’ the campaign saw the relaunch of Beta Malt which comes with a new look but same content.

The new Beta Malt comes with an appealing bottle and cover designed in a handy 330ml polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic pack offering consumers convenience at affordable prices.

The event was characterised by moments of entertainment and performances by artistes such as MzVee who is also the brand ambassador of Beta Malt.

Beta Malt was officially introduced and launched in 2015 to provide the best option in the non-alcoholic beverage industry to consumers.

Campaign

Briefing the media after the launch, the Brand Manager of Beta Malt, Mrs Portia Offei Asare, said the campaign was to encourage Ghanaians to continue to drink Beta Malt since it was rich in nutrients which enhanced growth. 

“The campaign is a demonstration of Ghanaians’ quest for greatness in all that they do.

“It is meant to encourage them to choose Beta Malt which has fortifying vitamins, minerals and nutrients which enhance growth,” she said.

Consumers’ preference

Explaining the reason for the relaunch, Mrs Asare said after a thorough research had been carried out by the company, it decided to rebrand to meet the growing demands and needs of consumers.

Earlier in a presentation, the Country Director of ABL, Mr Philip Redman, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to invest in its capacity to satisfy the increasing needs of customers.

He said the growth of the beverage on the Ghanaian market within a short time was a testament that the company was prepared to go to all length to meet the growing demands of Ghanaian consumers.

Brand ambassador

Mr Redman expressed appreciation to all stakeholders including distributors and management of the company for the key roles they played to ensure that “Beta Malt is number one on the market.”

 

MzVee also said she was grateful for the management of ABL for selecting her as the brand ambassador and called on Ghanaians to patronise the drink.
