AFCON 2017 Qualifier: Black Stars to hold training session today

The Black Stars will commence training for the final AFCON 2017 qualifier against Rwanda this afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Fourteen out of the 23 players invited by coach Avram Grant have arrived in the country despite the impasse between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ghana Football Association over airfares.

Some of the players who will participate in today's session are Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Edwin Gyimah, Afriyie Acquah as well as locally-based duo Richard Ofori and Kadri Mohammed.

Training for the Rwanda clash which takes place on September 3 will start today at 4:00 pm.
