That, according to him, will make it possible for him to complete the numerous social amenities he is single-handedly funding, especially in the remote communities.

Mr Ofei, currently the Presiding Member of the Akuapem North Municipal Assembly, has within a seven-month period (starting from January, this year) provided 49 social amenities such as mini-markets, water and sanitation facilities, feeder roads and clinics while 21 others are in various stages of completion.

The parliamentary aspirant toured a number of the communities at the weekend to drum home his message of positive change and expressed regret that although the people in the constituency had over the years supported political parties such as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), most of the communities had not benefitted from social amenities.

He said that unfortunate situation would be corrected should the people vote for him to continue with his development agenda to improve their living conditions.

Briefing the people on his resolve to provide social amenities with his own resources, Mr Offei, a businessman, stated that he decided to give back what society had given to him and appealed to all those with the means in the Akuapem area to do same.

The tour took him to eight communities, including Mamfe, Teiko, Mangoase, Budu and Aboabo, where the community heads expressed satisfaction about the numerous projects he had funded.

They appealed to Mr Ofei not to relent in his efforts to improve their lot.
